I use Android Auto every day, it is the only infotainment app I use in my car or rental. Sometimes I encounter some minor glitches with the new update, but it works well most of the time. After the recent update, I am not getting road traffic info unless the map is in Nav mode, which was working before, and screen selection can be a bit cumbersome with no touch screens.

The app is extremely unreliable. It worked for a short time and suddenly quit. Now, the car and phone can't see each other via USB or via Android Auto. It is not the cable. Apple CarPlay works fine in the car. I've tried multiple Samsung phones with the same failed results. There's no option to restart or uninstall / reinstall. Limited access to troubleshooting options. Google has failed miserably on this one.

I recently got a vehicle with sync3 and Android Auto. I've driven and owned others with this feature. In the Android auto Google Maps when you go full screen your car display the car icon is off to the right of the screen, it does not center cutting off the right side of the map. I have read this was an issue in 2019 and 2020 but can't find anything about this problem after that. Has there been a fix to this I can't find. This is aggravating when driving and can't see surrounding traffic
